How a job runs with us

The same four steps on every job, whether it's a two-day cleanup or a full pruning season. No surprises for you, and none for the crew.

  1. Walk the ranch

    Before we quote a job, we come see it. We walk the block with you or your ranch manager and write down what matters.

    • The workCrop, variety, the job to be done, and your quality standard, including how you'll check it.
    • The scheduleAcreage, start date, the finish date you need, and working hours.
    • The crewHeadcount, entry points, and parking.
    • The setupWhere water, shade, toilets, and handwashing stations will go.
    • The hazardsPesticide applications and restricted-entry intervals on or near the block, cell coverage, and emergency access.

  2. Paper before people

    You get everything in writing before a single worker arrives.

    • A written contractMeets Labor Code §2810: the work, location, crew size, rates, workers' comp policy, and start date.
    • Your compliance packetState license, federal certificate, county registration, workers' comp certificate, bond confirmation, safety plans, and training records.
    • A crew planYour foreman's name and phone number, start times, and how we'll report progress.

  3. Crew day

    A foreman runs every crew and stays with it all day.

    • Setup firstThe foreman arrives first and checks water, shade, and restrooms before work starts.
    • Morning safety talkIn Spanish and English, on that day's hazards: heat, ladders, tools, equipment, and traffic.
    • Heat plan in effectCool-down rest whenever it's needed, and high-heat procedures at 95°F.

  4. Payday and reporting
